Kaplan Professional has joined with ex-FASEA chief executive Deen Sanders to deliver FASEA standard bridging courses.

FASEA has announced the opening of exam registrations and sitting dates for both new and existing financial advisers.

FASEA has confirmed it is yet to approve applications for graduate diploma and bridging courses, but expects to do so by mid-June.

A FASEA accredited ethics bridging course, developed by The Ethics Centre, will be made available to financial advisers later this year.

The open-book nature of the FASEA adviser exam will not make it easier for advisers, who have been warned they have limited time to pass the mandatory exercise.

Advisers will not be required to complete a year’s worth of CPD by the end of June, but still must have a plan in place by the end of this month.

FASEA has updated the legislative instrument related to older education programs, including the FPA’s CFP designation.
