Former Deloitte partner and Engage Super Audits founder Jo Hurley has been appointed business development manager for specialist administration and audit firm Seamless SMSF.
Hurley brings nearly 25 years of experience to the Victorian-based firm, having most recently been SMSF assurance and advisory partner at accounting firm Deloitte. She left this role in February 2018 to take a career break and the new role marks her return to the sector.
Prior to her last position in the industry, she established Engage Super Audits, which was purchased by Deloitte in July 2015.
Her appointment represents part of Seamless SMSF’s business expansion plans to service 30,000 funds by 2022, as reported by selfmanagedsuper earlier this year.
Seamless chief executive Mike Henry described Hurley as driven, professional, respectful and someone who sets high standards, and added his firm is thrilled about her appointment.
