SuperConcepts restructures after manager departure

SuperConcepts manager departure

SuperConcepts has combined two senior roles following the departure of its general manager for customer services to stablemate AMP Capital.

SuperConcepts has combined two senior roles following the departure of one of a general manager to AMP Capital.

Customer service general manager Stuart Develyn will leave SuperConcepts after three-and- a-half years, with his role to be added to that of operations general manager Michael Pease.

Pease will take on Develyn’s responsibilities and will assume the new title of operations and service general manager, with SuperConcepts chief executive Lara Bourguignon saying the latter’s move allowed for a restructure in line with the group’s recently announced transformation strategy.

“Our operations are tightly linked to our client service and it makes sense to have one point of contact and accountability within SuperConcepts to ensure the best possible experience for our valued clients,” Bourguignon said.

“This new role is acknowledgement of Michael’s value to our leadership team as someone who has successfully run an SMSF business and has a deep understanding of linking operational processes to outstanding client outcomes.”

She also thanked Develyn for his work and noted his transition to AMP Capital was part of SuperConcepts’ promotion of career pathways, which now included exchanging talent with AMP.

SuperConcepts has made a number of staffing changes in recent months, announcing Bourguignon’s appointment in April following the departure of Natasha Fenech.

The leadership team was restructured in May, including a number of promotions and changes in roles, with further leadership appointments in June and a new office being opened in South Australia.
