The CoreData SMSF Service Provider Awards were held in conjunction with selfmanagedsuper for the third year running at Sydney’s Doltone House. Excellence was recognised across 14 categories as decided by both practitioners and trustees.

Selfmanagedsuper and NowInfinity hosted the annual SMSF Strategies Day with Grant Abbott across Australia,
attracting around 800 delegates. The event began at the Sheraton on the Park in Sydney.

The second SMSF Accountants’ Day, again co-hosted by Selfmanagedsuper and CoreData, was held in May. Full-day presentations took place in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

The SMSF Association hosted its 12th annual National Conference in February. It marked the industry body’s inaugural event under its new name and attracted around 1500 delegates to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) held its second annual National Congress in November 2014. The event was held over three days at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley.

the state’s west coast.
