Vanguard has added SMSFs to the list of investors who can gain access to its recently launched Personal Investor offering.

SMSFs are failing to renew an important identification number required for international trades of non-equity investments, according to an issuer of the number.

Due to high levels of interest, SMSFs have now been provided with the ability to trade gold, stored on their behalf in Australia, via a new mobile app.
