Veteran financial services media entrepreneur, publisher and journalist Greg Bright, who was responsible for launching many existing industry titles, has passed away aged 70.
Bright was a pioneering figure within the industry, giving rise to mastheads such as IFA, InvestorDaily, Investor Weekly, SMSF Magazine, Masterfunds Quarterly and Investment and Technology News.
More recently he co-founded Conexus Financial, the organisation within which he launched Investment Magazine, Professional Planner and Top1000funds.com.
Bright’s career was however not confined to the trade press, originally working as a journalist with The Sydney Morning Herald and The Australian Financial Review.
He was a roundly respected member of the financial services trade media and is survived by his wife Christine, children Sophie, Phoebe and Eddie, and grandchildren Tayla and Toby.
