Class Goldsmith

SMSF administration software service provider Class has appointed David Goldsmith to the position of business development manager.

Class has appointed David Goldsmith as its new business development manager responsible for the organisation’s focus on client and commercial partner support, building new relationships and facilitating commercial growth.

The move, which commenced on 9 January, marks Goldsmith’s second stint with the SMSF administration software service provider, having previously joined the organisation 10 years’ ago.

Class growth general manager Jo Hurley welcomed the fact the inclusion of Goldsmith to the team will add to its level of experience and expertise.

“Over the years David has built extensive relationships with top-tier accounting, auditing, SMSF administration and financial planning firms by helping these businesses to embrace and use technology to benefit client outcomes and drive efficiencies,” Hurley noted.

“This year marks 10 years since David first started his journey with Class and found his passion for SMSFs, technology innovation and solutions that transform the way businesses do work. So, we’re excited to welcome him back to the Class team.”

Goldsmith rejoins Class from his most recent role as Evolv Super Audits head of sales. Prior to this he was part of the sales team at Banklink, an organisation that dealt with banking transaction data, before being employed by Class and a business development manager in 2012.

He began his career as an accountant, a career choice that saw him working in the Channel Islands, England.

Goldsmith expressed his enthusiasm toward the opportunity to once again support Class customers.

“Class delivers best-in-class innovation and automation for Australia’s top accounting firms and is focused on enhancing customer experiences and continuing to develop solutions that create even more value for its customers and partners,” he said.

“I look forward to catching up with existing Class customers and partners as well as making new connections face to face when I attend the SMSF Association national conference this February.”
