Colonial First State (CFS) has released a new mobile app designed to provide users of its FirstWrap platform with further access to their superannuation, pension and investment accounts.
CFS superannuation chief executive Kelly Power said the app would allow the 35,000 FirstWrap members to view the total portfolio balance and individual balances of any FirstWrap Plus Personal Super, Pension or Term Pension, or FirstWrap Plus Investments accounts.
As part of this access, members can also view their account balance over time with a summary of all contributions, credits, debits and fees in the current financial year and details on where their money is invested, including units, current value and allocation for investments.
“Members can also contact their adviser directly from the app, encouraging them to engage with their adviser more often,” Power said.
“Colonial First State strongly believes in the value of quality financial advice and this particular app feature reinforces our commitment to supporting members’ relationships with their advisers.”
The app is available for Apple and Android devices and includes face and touch ID security features, as well as two-factor authentication for verifying personal information.
The launch is one of the wealth management group’s latest moves in its plans to explore the digital space, with $430 million being set aside over the next four years for further developments.
It follows the formation of a partnership with FNZ in February to integrate the FirstWrap platform with the systems advisers use daily in their practices, with the revamped platform set to launch in late 2022.
“We are well on the journey and will continue to listen to feedback from our members and deliver more features in the future to meet their ongoing needs,” Power said.
