SuperConcepts bolsters sales team

Two new positions within the SuperConcepts sales team have been filled via the appointment of a new team member and an internal promotion.

Specialist SMSF software, education and administration provider SuperConcepts has made two appointments to fill newly created positions within its sales team.

The move will see Garry Johnston promoted to become national software sales manager and Sarah Pressler added as a new member to the organisation in the role of national key accounts manager.

Johnston previously acted as state sales manager for Queensland and is a qualified accountant.

SuperConcepts growth, sales and marketing general manager Annette Sheppard described his appointment as a logical development for the company.

“It was a natural progression for us to appoint someone to own software sales and Garry’s experience as an SMSF software user allows him to really understand the needs of SuperMate clients,” Sheppard said.

Pressler will oversee key accounts and will be responsible for SMSF growth opportunities in Western Australia and South Australia.

She brings her experience in enhancing profitability solutions to the organisation, having worked across a variety of industries.

In embarking on the new position, she said she is looking to leverage off existing relationships she built during her time with AMP.

“SuperConcepts’ refreshed service offering complements the needs of advisers, allows them to diversify their client base and provides an SMSF model that satisfies the flexibility their clients now desire,” she noted.

“I’ll be working closely with national key accounts in need of an SMSF partner to reduce compliance load and risk in their organisation.”

According to Sheppard, the creation of the new roles comes as a result of the latest initiatives involving the SuperMate administrative software application.

“It’s been a huge year of development for us as we launched the latest iteration of our SMSF software, SuperMate,” she noted.

“We also see increasing opportunity within the advised space and are confident that Sarah’s breadth of knowledge and experience will strengthen our ability to add value to the industry.

“It’s pivotal for us to not only embrace the momentum we’re seeing, but provide support to the opportunity and I’m confident that Sarah and Garry will do just that.”
