Next generation SuperMate to launch in 2022

SuperMate upgrade

SMSF accounting software platform SuperMate has undergone a complete upgrade and will be released into the market in February next year.

SMSF specialist administration and education provider SuperConcepts is set to launch the next version of its SuperMate accounting software in early 2022.

The upgrade to SuperMate will see it transformed into a web-based facility that will be officially introduced to the market at the 2022 SMSF Association National Conference to be held in Adelaide next February.

According to SuperConcepts, the service has undergone a complete overhaul internally and externally.

Specifically, the latest version of the software will feature improved data feeds, advanced property processing, the ability to process foreign assets and better documentation recognition and data extraction.

Further, the application has been simplified and become web-based in response to client demand.

“We know that people love the power and price of SuperMate, but would like to see it simplified and in a web environment,” SuperConcepts chief technology officer Andy Forbes noted.

“[And] we undertook extensive research as to what the market was crying out for.

“It confirmed that data feeds, integration and reporting were the biggest pain points for practitioners, but there was a lot of interesting information in the detail.”

One of the critical feature upgrades is the ease with which clients can be switched from other administration software systems.

“A huge focus from day one has been to ensure we can provide a migration concierge service for clients. With a dedicated migration team, we’ll work with firms to remove the stress of switching software providers,” Forbes noted.

SuperConcepts is offering an early-bird discount for practitioners who sign up for the improved platform before 31 December that will see these clients pay only $120 per fund over the coming 12 months.

“The future looks bright for SMSF admin software users as the three big providers battle it out to solve more of the industry’s problems through integration and automation,” Forbes noted.
