SuperConcepts has extended the scope of a long-running arrangement with professional services firm BDO Australia, which will result in the latter being added to the panel of auditors within the former’s administration software.
Under the extended arrangement, SuperConcepts’ administration software, SuperMate, will continue to be used by BDO Australia nationally, which in turn will be added to SuperConcepts’ panel of auditors, providing its clients with access to audits backed by BDO’s SMSF experts.
The administration service provider stated it had worked with BDO to improve the software and user experience, and the addition of an audit offering, from BDO to SuperConcepts’ clients, was evidence of the groups’ commitment to work together.
SuperConcepts acting chief executive Grant Christensen said: “By building on BDO Australia’s SMSF audit expertise and continuing to invest in SuperMate, we believe we can provide optimal experiences for our respective customers and teams.”
BDO Australia financial services partner Geoff Rooney said SuperConcepts clients could expect quality audits and independence through the expanded relationship.
“This expansion reflects both firms’ focus on building trusted relationships with market-leading and innovative companies to ensure exceptional client service through a high-quality, effective and reliable service,” Rooney said.
“With a renewed and ongoing focus on audit quality, BDO is well-positioned to provide an improved experience for SuperConcepts clients using our leading global audit methodologies.”
Last month, SuperConcepts released a full-service administration product that brings together its suite of support, administration, digital tools and communications services and products.
In December 2020, the company also received the necessary accreditation to be one of the first administrators in the SMSF space to provide open banking services to clients.
