A newly formed industry body for advisers working in the area of intergenerational wealth transfer has announced the addition of three new directors, doubling the number of its foundation leadership.
The Succession, Asset Protection and Estate Planning Advisers Association (SAPEPAA), which launched in December and has since announced plans to establish education standards for advisers working in this area, announced it had appointed Susanne Bransgrove, Sally Rorke and Ashleigh Jaremyn as directors of the association.
They will join the other founding directors, LightYear Docs founder Grant Abbott, LightYear Docs group director Michael Jeffriess and Change Accountants and Advisors founder and chief executive, and founder of ChangeGPS, Timothy Munro.
Jeffries said the addition of the three new directors would bring further extensive experience, knowledge, strength and diversity to the board.
Bransgrove is a family business specialist and managing director of LiquidGold Consultants and Women in Family Business Australia & New Zealand, while Rorke is a licensed SMSF adviser at Allan Hall Business Advisors on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and has more than 25 years’ experience in the SMSF sector, with a focus on the implementation of advice for taxation, accumulation, retirement and estate planning strategies.
Jaremyn is an executive director of LightYear Group and its subsidiaries, LightYear Docs and I Love SMSF.
Jeffries recently told selfmanagedsuper the association would formally launch in March of this year and would aim to attract a wide range of practitioners, but still only focus on the specific skills related to succession and estate planning and asset protection.
