SuperConcepts is set to release an updated version of its SMSF accounting platform, SuperMate, in 2021.
The administration service provider announced the new SuperMate platform would provide an improved user experience, including a new web-based user interface (UI), a mobile app for trustees and an updated version of its desktop application.
“The new SuperMate is part of a significant investment into the future of SuperConcepts and will feature the most advanced artificial intelligence (AI) processes the industry has seen to date,” it said.
“It will also include major new forms of automation that will free up the arms of accountants, SMSF administrators and advisers so they can simplify their operations and spend more time with their clients.”
The new platform’s AI functions will provide accurate automated processes intended to cut the time spent by users on data entry, reconciling transactions and documents, and preparing and lodging tax returns.
In addition, the new SuperMate mobile app will allow trustees to lodge and access documents and queries from anywhere in the world.
SuperConcepts chief technology officer Brad Ackermann said: “The new SuperMate will bring new concepts in a simple design, it is easy to interact with and is a lot less complicated than the current software that is on the market.
“There will be no more options layered under sub-menus, no more training for the user to become proficient with SuperMate, just a simple-to-use, good-looking UI with a whole range of new features. We will be rolling these out to new customers after the first quarter of 2021 to get feedback and aim to launch in the third quarter.”
