Administration service provider SuperConcepts has reduced its specialist team further, with SMSF technical services executive manager Mark Ellem departing the firm.
Ellem exited the organisation on 1 May, ending a period of service that spanned six-and-half years. He joined SuperConcepts in November 2013 having been policy director at Supercorp immediately prior.
Speaking about the departure, SuperConcepts chief executive Lara Bourguignon told selfmanagedsuper: “We’ve enjoyed having Mark as part of the SuperConcepts team and are very grateful of his contribution to the business.
“We wish him all the best for the future.”
Ellem is an SMSF Association accredited specialist adviser and was awarded the industry body’s CEO award in 2019.
This year he was part a of a select group of SMSF Association members to earn the fellow designation.
The news of Ellem leaving SuperConcepts follows the recent announcement of the departure of the firm’s technical education services general manager, Peter Burgess.
At the time, it was revealed Burgess will be taking on the role of deputy chief executive and director of policy and education with the SMSF Association.
