Natasha Fenech resigns as SuperConcepts head

Natasha Fenech steps down as SuperConcepts chief executive.

SuperConcepts chief executive Natasha Fenech has resigned after five years at the firm to take another opportunity as a chief executive within the financial services industry outside the SMSF sector.

Fenech has informed the board of her intentions and will remain as chief executive of the group until 24 May 2019 unless a successor is appointed prior to that date.

“On behalf of the SuperConcepts board I’d like to thank Natasha for her outstanding vision and leadership,” SuperConcepts chairman Richard Grellman said.

“Natasha’s results speak volumes about the five-year strategic plan she enacted, which included the transformation of the company to a significant player in the SMSF industry moving from 1 per cent market share, to become a market leader servicing over 10 per cent of SMSFs.”

Grellman added Fenech has been recognised by many industry award panels for her leadership and innovation.

Commenting on her exit Fenech said: “It has been my great privilege to work with an exceptionally dedicated and skilled group of people who have all contributed to the success of SuperConcepts as we grew from a start-up to dominating the SMSF space”.

“The five-year plan we started is almost complete and SuperConcepts is ready for fresh leadership to take it through the next phase.”

Fenech has previously worked at Suncorp as executive general manager, personal insurance customer, product and pricing.
