SuperConcepts’ technical education team has released a 30-module training course designed to keep professionals updated on the latest regulatory requirements around SMSF advice.
SMSF professionals providing advice and accounting services face a continuous struggle to keep up to date with legislative changes for compliance, the SMSF administration and software firm said.
The training provides accredited continuing professional development (CPD) points.
The course content is compiled by the group’s education team led by general manager technical services and education Peter Burgess, as well as Graeme Colley, Philip La Greca and Nick Ali.
SuperConcepts chief executive Natasha Fenech said the modules incorporate the latest changes and the course content experts are highly credible with deep knowledge in the SMSF sector.
“The training course was created by our SMSF experts for professionals working in this space because we understand how difficult it is for them to stay ahead of sometimes challenging regulations,” Fenech noted.
“Having each module accredited with CPD points means professionals are investing in their own professional development and can be assured of the quality of the course content.
“Doing all 30 modules within 12 months satisfies the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s RG 146 SMSF specialist knowledge requirements, which enables you to give SMSF advice if you are already RG 146 compliant in superannuation and licensed to provide that advice.”
Fenech revealed a key strategic objective at SuperConcepts is to raise the professional standards in the industry, with its technical education team of experts at the forefront of legislative developments to help professionals.
The training course offers the first module for free, then charges $49.95 per module or $990 if all 30 modules are purchases together.
