SuperConcepts unveils technical support service

SuperConcepts has launched a technical support service for SMSF practitioners that will be available to anyone outside the firm’s client base for the first time.

Called TechAssist, the service will includes guidance from the SMSF administrator’s technical team on transactions, strategies and legislation.

The team is led by technical services and education general manager Peter Burgess and includes SMSF technical and private wealth executive manager Graeme Colley, SMSF technical and strategic solutions executive manager Philip La Greca and SMSF technical services executive manager Mark Ellem.

Commenting on the service, Burgess said: “The size and experience of our team means we are uniquely positioned to offer a first-class technical assist service that is scalable and cost-effective.

“For years we have been assisting our clients by providing guidance on SMSF transactions and strategies. Clients often call us seeking a second opinion or asking for our assistance with a particular compliance matter.”

TechAssist members will receive up to one hour of technical support each month, access to monthly technical update webinars, discounted course rates and regular bulletins with technical articles.

Advisers who use SuperMate or have clients with SMSFs being administered by SuperConcepts will continue to have free access to the SuperConcepts technical team, while other advisers can gain access for a monthly subscription fee of $99.

Advisers who are not SuperConcepts clients who subscribe can switch off the subscription at any time, subject to some conditions, should they no longer require the service.
