Fintech firm teams with SMSF software company

Financial services fintech firm Mafematica is partnering with BGL to provide retirement solutions to clients of BGL Corporate Solutions.

The fintech firm will offer SMSF trustees and advisers a range of investment portfolios, including direct shares, as well as assess the existing securities held in SMSFs.

Mafematica founder Derek Condell said he is excited to partner with BGL as they move towards a formal launch of the product.

“We think our product is truly groundbreaking and will provide retirement financial planning solutions that will empower the growing number of SMSF trustees across Australia,” Condell said.

Mafematica will integrate with BGL’s Simple Fund 360 cloud-based software and will be included in BGL’s Marketplace as part of the Simple Fund 360 ecosystem.

It will also provide a retirement cash-flow report for clients and advisers that will show how SMSFs can improve those forecasts.

BGL managing director Ron Lesh said of the partnership: “It should help our clients to help their clients invest better and retire richer.

“Integration with the Simple Fund 360 API provides easy implementation of investment portfolios for accountants, stockbrokers, planners and SMSF trustees.”
