Former Engage Super Audits chief executive and Deloitte SMSF audit partner Jo Heighway has departed Deloitte after almost three years at the big four accountancy firm.
Heighway joined Deloitte after it acquired Engage Super Audits in June 2015. She founded Engage Super Audits, an independent SMSF audit firm, in 2005.
A Deloitte spokesperson told selfmanagedsuper Heighway left the firm to devote her time to her young family.
“She joined Deloitte in 2015, bringing her expertise back to Deloitte where she had been a graduate, and has been delighted to have been involved in helping to lead the establishment of Deloitte’s SMSF audit business, which has gone from strength to strength,” the spokesperson said.
The Engage Super Audits team joined Deloitte in 2015 in a move to enhance the professional services firm’s capability in the SMSF space.
Heighway was an SMSF auditor with Deloitte from 1995 to 1998.
