BGL users get Ignition Wealth service access

Clients of specialist SMSF software provider BGL will be given the ability to access the digital financial advice services of Ignition Wealth as the result of a new partnership arrangement between the two organisations.

Specifically, accountants using the BGL Simple Fund 360 platform not currently operating under an Australian financial services licence will now have access to the Ignition Wealth SMSF Appropriateness Guide.

The initiative will give these practitioners the ability to provide a financial planning function while maintaining their status as the clients’ primary source of advice.

“Accountants who register today will be instantly set up with a digital advice portal branded with their company logo and company identity,” Ignition Wealth head of sales and marketing Richard Liverpool said.

“Training is provided and then the accountant is ready to refer to the Ignition Wealth SMSF Appropriateness Guide. Fees are paid per client and are only payable when the client’s statement of advice is produced.”

Under the agreement, Simple Fund 360 users will be charged a preferential rate for the Ignition Wealth SMSF Appropriateness Guide.

BGL managing director Ron Lesh described the ability for non-licensed accountants to give their clients access to financial advice without compromising their books of business as a win for both parties.

“A key advantage of the Ignition Wealth hybrid digital advice solution is that it is easy to use, scalable and is ready to assist the large number of SMSFs that require advice,” he said.
