Global equities specialist fund manager Cooper Investors has had two of its offerings recently included on BT Financial Group’s investment platforms.
The Cooper Investors Global Equities Fund (Hedged) and Cooper Investors Global Equities Fund (Unhedged) are now available to retail investors via the BT Wrap, Asgard eWrap and BT Panorama platforms.
The move further strengthens Cooper Investors’ push into the retail investor market with the two offerings already accessible on the Hub24 and Powerwrap platforms.
According to the manager’s latest performance report, the Cooper Investors Global Equities Fund (Unhedged) has produced strong performance over the past year, generating a net return of 26.51 per cent for the 12 months to 30 November 2017.
This result means the fund outperformed the MSCI World Index by 5.2 percentage points, with the benchmark delivering a return of 21.31 per cent.
The offering has also managed to outperform the index over the past three years, having produced an average annual return of 13.93 per cent compared to the 12.32 per cent generated by MSCI World Index.
Both funds allow retail investors the opportunity to access global equity markets along with outperforming returns, Cooper Investors senior retail sales manager Andrew Hall said.
