The Tax Institute has launched the “Grow Today. Master Tomorrow.” initiative to give tax professionals access to key resources and up-to-date information on the profession.
The initiative was an effort to assist tax professionals in remaining relevant during a period of significant change, including technological, social, policy and regulatory changes that would impact on the future of the tax profession, the institute said.
Institute senior tax counsel and head of education Professor Robert Deutsch said: “Our key aim is to ensure that current and future tax professionals are supported and ready to face these changes.”
According to the institute, around 74 per cent of individuals and 95 per cent of businesses used the services of a tax professional.
The initiative would help them keep abreast of the changes in an evolving profession, it said.
