BGL Corporate Solutions has announced Evolv White has been integrated into its Simple Fund 360 software.
Evolv White is a new automated cloud-based SMSF audit platform that has redefined the way super fund audits are done as it was built by auditors for auditors.
Rather than complete, Evolv now collaborates with other like-minded auditors to adapt to a new age of digital audits.
“This is great news. I am excited to have Evolv join as our latest audit integration partner,” BGL managing director Ron Lesh said.
“With the huge growth in Simple Fund 360 clients and funds over the past few months – 23,000-plus new funds in the June quarter alone – we think Evolv will have plenty of work to do.”
Evolv White is using the Simple Fund 360 application programming interface (API) to extract data, enabling auditors to automate the SMSF audit process.
In addition, Evolv has developed an optical character recognition function to read the PDF versions of various Simple Fund 360 reports and bring them into their application.
“Manual processing is now replaced with seamless automation,” Evolv director Ron Phipps-Ellis said.
“The result is consistency, quality, efficiency and proven time savings far beyond what just a pre-populated electronic checklist can deliver.”
BGL has developed unique auditing features in Simple Fund 360 to give auditors easy access to a full range of audit documentation and reports, as well as produced an audit white paper to help auditors.
Simple Fund 360 has an open free API allowing third-party suppliers easy access to SMSF data.
Over 50 third parties already use the Simple Fund 360 API.
