Class adds ING data feed

Specialist cloud-based SMSF administration software provider Class has introduced direct-connect data feeds from ING cash account clients.

It means daily transaction data from client ING cash accounts will now be available for accountants and advisers using the Class administration platform.

The ING arrangement adds to Class’s already 180-strong data feed network covering brokerage houses, banks and investment platforms.

According to Class chief executive Kevin Bungard, the ING data feed was already proving to be the third most popular among users, behind those from the four major banks and Macquarie.

“It’s great to be the first to add this popular product from ING to our growing stable of data feeds,” Bungard said.

“Quality, electronic data feeds coming direct from the institution are vital to getting the greatest efficiencies from cloud-based SMSF software.”

This latest development comes after Class announced an integration agreement it had reached with Plenty Plus, the service provider offering an advice solution for accountants without an Australian financial services licence.

The arrangement gave Plenty Plus access to information from Class, allowing its users to more easily identify which of their existing clients had potentially unmet financial advice needs.
