Class launches new mobile app

Cloud SMSF administration software provider Class has unveiled its new mobile app, which gives SMSF trustees and other portfolio investors access to a detailed, up-to-date overview of their investment data on their smartphone.

App users will be able to easily track the performance of their SMSF or investment portfolio on the go, including investment income, valuations and asset allocation.

They will also be able to securely exchange messages with their accountant or fund administrator, upload electronic documents and send documents by taking a photograph of them with their phone.

Class chief executive Kevin Bungard said the app, which was launched at the SMSF Association 2017 National Conference in Melbourne today, was developed to meet trustee demand for convenient, 24/7 access to information on their wealth.

“Trustees are insisting on more information about their funds and want to be able to view that information whenever and wherever they want,” Bungard noted.

“We created the Class mobile app to assist accountants and administrators to connect with their clients and give them valuable insights into their portfolios.”

He added having up-to-date, easy-to-understand information on a portfolio was also a vital part of sound investment decision-making.

The app provides all the current data and reporting SMSF trustees and portfolio investors need to support and inform their investment decisions.

Users are able to easily navigate between the contributions, pensions and performance screens via three buttons at the bottom of the screen.

The app can be used by SMSF trustees whose fund is administered on Class Super and whose administrator has enabled access.

It can also be used by trustees of portfolios administered with Class Portfolio.

The app is available from the App Store and on Google Play.
