Evolv Grey and Evolv White were designed to complement the firm’s existing full SMSF audit service, which has been renamed Evolv Black.
Evolv Grey will be launched in late October and allows auditors to collaborate with the audit specialist while still retaining their own brand.
“We saw a gap in the market whereby Evolv can perform the majority of the SMSF audit procedures on behalf of auditors and you can rely on us to be your trusted super audit resourcing solution,” Evolv managing director Ron Phipps-Ellis said.
“We take away the pain by using our software and resourcing to do a comprehensive, quality financial and compliance audit on time, every time.
“You can review our work, and as your clients’ trusted adviser, you continue to sign the report and charge the audit fee you are comfortable with.”
Evolv White will be launched in November and will give auditors the opportunity to licence Evolv’s software platform.
“We’ve built our technology on a cloud-based integrated platform that embraces data feeds and enables automation of the whole audit process,” Phipps-Ellis noted.
“We see this as a major point of difference to older platforms.”
As part of its guarantee of excellence for its full service offering, Evolv accepts full liability for the audit.
Phipps-Ellis said the full service option continued to provide accountants with an efficient, high-quality and value-for-money audit that was synonymous with the business’s trademark.
In addition, he highlighted that Evolv’s role was not to compete with other SMSF auditors.
“Rather, Evolv is a trusted partner that will future-proof firms and provide a previously unavailable advantage to a new market of auditors,” he said.
“The market is large and the SMSF audit industry is disparate. Mergers of SMSF audit practices aren’t common – these new offerings provide an alternative way to collaborate and do our jobs more efficiently.
“Our vision is to lead the way in these disruptive times by introducing new ways to do audits [and] to assist forward-thinking auditors.”
