Class links to Financial Simplicity

Class has partnered with Financial Simplicity to create an integration allowing wealth advisers to receive a data feed of portfolio assets for SMSFs and other investment portfolios.

The link to Financial Simplicity, which powers scalable portfolio compliance and modelling, will allow wealth advisers to deliver highly personalised portfolio experiences profitably, safely and with scale.

Financial Simplicity uses sophisticated portfolio intelligence methods, which show a compliance summary of a firm’s entire set of portfolios on a single screen.

This framework continually assesses whether each portfolio is in line with the firm’s investment policies, overlaid with the investor’s rules, preferences and constraints, and also whether rebalancing the portfolio is appropriate.

The joining of Class’s administration and reporting capabilities with Financial Simplicity’s portfolio compliance and modelling expertise delivers significant business efficiencies and service advantages to wealth advisory firms.

It demonstrates not only that it is possible, but also very profitable to deliver investor-centric portfolio services to their clients.

“Financial Simplicity is leading the way with an innovative portfolio compliance and modelling framework,” Class chief executive Kevin Bungard said.

“The integration with Class will help wealth advisers deliver successfully and profitably on their service proposition.”

Financial Simplicity chief executive Stuart Holdsworth said that in the age of digital revolution, it was increasingly important wealth advisers provided continuous and comprehensive counsel on their client investment portfolios to maintain a professional standing.

“The combination of Class and Financial Simplicity brings our respective capabilities together to provide this uniquely to the market,” Holdsworth said.

Class currently offers Class Super and Class Portfolio.

Last week, the cloud-based administration software provider confirmed it was selected by BT Financial Group to be the accounting software engine behind the recently completed BT Panorama SMSF solution.
