Leading SMSF administration software specialist Class has continued to develop automation in the SMSF sector, announcing a collaboration with Australian depreciation schedule provider Depreciator.
The integration will enable accountants and administrators who service SMSFs and other investment portfolios with property assets to request depreciation schedules within the Class application, catering for both time efficiencies and data accuracy.
“We are delighted to announce this latest integration with Depreciator,” Class chief executive Kevin Bungard said.
“Data entry and management of depreciation schedules has always been a time-consuming and largely manual task for accountants and administrators.
“This latest development will greatly reduce the work involved.”
Once a Class user has requested the depreciation schedule, it will be directly uploaded to Class upon completion and the schedule will be automatically populated.
Depreciator chief executive Hans Dean said the organisation had been focused on making services easier for accountants since it launched 15 years ago.
“With the rise of the SMSF industry, we’re now also making things easier for fund administrators with our instant upload into Class. No other provider offers this,” Dean said.
Recently, Class has been increasingly focused on innovation and broadening market share, both within the SMSF space and externally.
The integration with Depreciator will further this development and add to the platform of services provided by Class for accountants and administrators.
On 18 December last year, Class officially listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.
