Audit software specialist Auditflow’s intelligent audit workpapers solution has been integrated into the BGL Simple Fund 360 SMSF administration software offering.
The move will allow data to be automatically loaded from the BGL Simple Fund 360 into the Auditflow system, reducing the need for manual processing and in turn creating more efficiency for SMSF auditors.
“Of the 500-plus firms using Simple Fund 360, we know many are looking for ways to streamline their audit process,” BGL managing director Ron Lesh said.
“We released Auditflow for Simple Fund Desktop a few weeks ago and we know this has already created a stir among our clients who want to add efficiencies to their audit process. This latest change means our Simple Fund 360 clients can benefit from the same automation as our Simple Fund Desktop clients.”
Auditflow chief executive Richard Neal said the integration was the next step in his company’s relationship with BGL.
“In just a few short months, BGL has loaded almost 10,000 funds onto Simple Fund 360 and we know Auditflow will help the auditors of these funds complete their work as efficiently as possible.”
Lesh said further collaborative efforts with Auditflow were already underway.
“BGL is also working with Auditflow to develop integration using the Simple Fund 360 application programing interface (API),” he said.
“BGL sees integration with our API as the future for all integration with the BGL 360 suite of products.”
