SMSF specialist administrator SuperGuardian has teamed up with Xpress Convert to launch a service providing a seamless transition to the Class Super administrative platform.
The partnership and conversion facility are an attempt to make it easier for accountants to lodge SMSF returns at the end of the financial year.
“This month is a very stressful period for most accountants and trustees as they have to file end-of-year returns for self-managed super funds. At a time like this, platforms like Class Super prove to be very efficient and we have been able to maximise all of its benefits,” SuperGuardian chief executive Olivia Long said.
Using the new service will cost either trustees or accountants anywhere between $25 and $75, depending on who their existing administration provider is.
The initiative comes hot on the heels of Xpress Convert releasing a conversion service for users of Xero accounting software.
“We step in once the SMSF returns are done. Xpress Convert can then move the SMSFs to Class Super’s cloud solution and can save accountants and trustees the hassle of repeating the same procedure next year. Our experienced team can assist them with setting up data feeds and can help accountants and trustees leverage off the automation that Class Super provides,” Xpress Convert general manager Ed Bernard said.
