Specialist SMSF administration provider SuperIQ has acquired ANZ’s SMSF administration arm, Super Concepts.
As part of the transaction, SuperIQ will now provide a white-labelled SMF administration service to ANZ. And while SuperIQ has said it has no intention to rebrand Super Concepts, it will transition its current clients across to the SuperIQ technology platform.
Super Concepts, however, will continue to operate under its own name from its Melbourne offices.
“This agreement is good for Super Concepts customers, good for ANZ customers and good for SuperIQ. Super Concepts customers and ANZ customers will have access to SuperIQ’s market-leading SMSF administration service and technology platform,” SuperIQ chief executive Andrew Bloore said.
“SuperIQ will benefit through increased scale, which will allow us to continue to invest in enhancing services for customers, advisers and accountants. The agreement will allow us to better serve the needs of customers in this rapidly changing sector of the industry while increasing the overall efficiency and competitiveness of the business.”
Bloore said Super Concepts clients would now have access to a greater range of online services. He said the transition process would be as seamless as possible and would include information covering off the additional SMSF administration features now available to those individuals.
He said ANZ customers would now also be able to receive up-to-date information about their SMSF provided via ANZ’s online dashboards and a telephone service giving them access to specific client service managers.
“The improved transparency and service means customers will have timely information about their fund at their fingertips in the one place and will be better placed to make decisions. This ultimately helps customers to take control of and better manage their retirement savings,” he said.
The purchase of Super Concepts comes almost immediately after SuperIQ acquired Tranzact’s SMSF operation.
