Global fund manager Salter Brothers has announced the appointment of Caterina Nesci as director of brand and marketing, with a focus on supporting the firm’s growth strategies in Australia and across its markets in Asia.
Nesci joins Salter Brothers from luxury brand Tema Moda, where she served as chief marketing officer. Prior to that, she held key positions at La Trobe Financial, including head of marketing and communications, and director of environmental, social and governance and international partnerships, in addition to serving as a member of the executive committee.
According to Salter Brothers, she played a crucial role in helping La Trobe Financial grow its assets under management from $1.2 billion to over $16 billion. She brings more than 20 years of experience to the job, having held several senior roles in Asia and Europe.
Salter Brothers managing director Paul Salter welcomed the appointment and emphasised the role Nesci will play in expanding the company’s reach.
“We are pleased to welcome Caterina to our team. This is an important appointment to support our growth plans in our key markets and sectors, where Caterina already has a demonstrable track record,” Salter noted.
Nesci also expressed her excitement about the new role and stated she is looking forward to bringing her expertise to the firm.

Salter Brothers currently holds over $4 billion in assets under management and has established offices and operations in Australia, Singapore, Japan and the United States.
