Supercorp in data deal with MYOB

Superannuation administration software specialist Supercorp Technology has secured an agreement for the provision of direct daily bank data feeds from accounting software company MYOB.

The electronic feeds will cover data from over 75 banks, building societies and credit unions and will be available for users of Supercorp’s SMSF administration service, superMate.

The deal means superMate clients will now have access to the largest list of data feeds from banks within the SMSF sector.

Commenting on the agreement, Supercorp chief executive Kurt Groenveld said: “Data automation has been the buzzword of the SMSF administration landscape for several years.

“While to date previous solutions have linked together several direct and intermediary feeds to offer a limited solution, through our new agreement with MYOB we are the first to offer a single vendor, comprehensive list of fully automated bank feeds.”

MYOB indicated it was very pleased to add Supercorp to the group of companies to which it was currently providing data feeds.

“The secure data feeds will enable Supercorp to assist accountants in providing sound financial management and advice for their clients,” MYOB general manager for SME solutions James Scollay said.

SuperMate users have been able to access the new service since 29 June and will receive Supercorp assistance in implementing the facility.

“Supercorp will work directly with our clients to assist them in identifying bank accounts that will benefit from this new service,” Groenveld said.

“Clients can start establishing new authorities immediately.”
