AMP SMSF Administration managing director Andrew Hamilton is set to leave the financial services organisation in July.
Hamilton’s departure will mark the end of a two-year involvement with AMP that began with the company’s acquisition of Cavendish Super.
“Andrew has made a really significant contribution to AMP and to the industry,” an AMP spokesperson said.
Subsequent to leaving AMP, Hamilton will be taking six months’ leave to spend more time with his family.
AMP is yet to begin the process of finding a replacement for Hamilton and is looking to properly assess the situation over a period of time in order find the most suitable candidate.
Despite leaving AMP, Hamilton will be continuing his involvement with the SMSF Professionals’ Association of Australia, having just finished his term as chairman of the board.
