Specialist SMSF administration provider Class Super has extended its series of key relationships with other industry organisations with the announcement of a newly formed partnership with actuarial certificate provider Haintz Actuarial.
The newly formed relationship will give Class Super clients the ability to request an actuarial certificate from Haintz and receive the calculation of the proportion of tax-exempt income for an SMSF paying a pension within minutes, along with the necessary documentation.
The facility will improve the efficiency of the process as traditionally this type of calculation has taken over a day to complete.
In addition, Class Super will update client information once it receives the calculation and will store the actuarial certificate as part of its records.
Haintz Actuarial director David Haintz said the technology made available through its new partnership with Class Super would add another layer of agility to his organisation.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be partnering with a solution provider that is already helping thousands of accountants to more easily administer over 79,000 funds and which has created so many milestones in Australian SMSF administration,” Haintz said.
“Our accounting and financial adviser partners are looking to us to underpin the efficiency of their businesses and, ultimately, their service delivery to clients.
“Time and cost savings, as well as the reduction of error-prone double entry, are critical.
“Our partnership with Class will be key as we continue to drive our reputation for competitively priced and professional actuarial services.”
Class Super chief executive Kevin Bungard said the partnership would drive major efficiencies for its clients.
“Haintz is a highly reputable specialist provider of actuarial certificates and in response to client demand we’re pleased to welcome their professional approach and technical expertise to the Class Super ecosystem,” Bungard said.
