SMSF administrator SuperConcepts has released the latest version of SMSF administration software SuperMate, providing clients with access to improved data feeds and document recognition.
SuperConcepts chief technology officer Andy Forbes said the new version of SuperMate was designed to minimise the number of screens and clicks required to complete tasks and “every design choice and every feature has been created by people who actually understand and can complete the process of administering SMSFs”.
SuperConcepts chief executive Grant Christensen said the new-generation SuperMate would interact with previous versions.
“SuperMate Classic users will be able to work under a hybrid model, processing funds in both SuperMate Classic and the new SuperMate should they wish,” Christensen said.
“We will continue to focus on reducing the complexities across all areas of SMSF administration with our relentless emphasis on continual innovation.”
SuperMate will cost $190 per fund per annum, but SuperConcepts has offered a 20 per cent discount on the introductory offer until 31 December 2022 for clients who have registered before 30 June.
SuperConcepts software sales national manager Garry Johnston said: “There’s no hidden extras, every SuperMate subscription includes data feeds, registry look-ups, API (application programming interface) access and SuperStream ESA (electronic service address). It’s all included in the one price with no hidden extras.”
Commenting on his firm’s decision to use SuperMate, BDO Australia national superannuation lead Paul Rafton said the primary factor in choosing SuperMate was its swift integration process.
“We’ve looked at other options on the market, but SuperMate provides us with an easy way to bring people on board. New staff can come on board and hit the ground running,” Rafton said.
“The drag and drop feature will allow staff to be much more efficient with fewer keystrokes on the keyboard and allows them to get on with their job much more quickly.”
The launch was originally due to take place at this year’s SMSF Association National Conference, but was shifted to an online launch with live demonstrations after that event was postponed due to concerns around COVID-19.
